Status of the MT-WY Families Shared Spreadsheet

This page contains information about the status of the MT-WY Families shared spreadsheet portion of the MT-WY Connect project. It will be updated as progress is made.

Where We Are

The MT-WY Families shared spreadsheet contains a number of individual sheets (tabs at the bottom). Two of these are complete:

  1. All Contact Info By Name, which is a listing of all MT-WY families with their contact information listed alphabetically by last name. Phone numbers, locations, and email addresses are all clickable and bring up calling options with the phone number already inserted, an email composer with the email address already inserted, and a Google map of the location, respectively.
  2. All Contact Info By Field, which contains the same family information ordered alphabetically by field, in which families are ordered by family name.

Where We Are Headed

Other sheets (tabs) in the Mt-WY Families shared spreadsheet are present but empty. These are on the to-do list.

  1. All Contact Info By Meeting, which will contain all of the MT-WY families contact information as in the All Contact Info By Field sheet but further ordered within the fields by meetings.
  2. Regular Sundays, which will be a listing of just the meeting information (not who attends the meeting) for all meetings, ordered by field and then by the meeting elder's name within fields. This should be useful for looking up meetings when one is traveling through a different field or gets a request from visiting friends passing though Montana or Wyoming for meeting contact information. It will also prove useful for creating address labels automatically for mail to be sent to elders.
  3. Union Sundays, which will contain similar information for union meetings in each field.
  4. Bible Studies, which will contain similar information for Bible study meetings in each field.

Given the groundwork completed in creating the first two sheets, All Contact Info By Name and All Contact Info By Field, completion of these last four sheets will be straightforward. Progress on them has been halted for the moment to focus on generation of the hardcopy address book.
